Hey, im CornDuck, IR im David, i am from Latvia and i have no experience in game development !
I do know how to model stuff, been modeling and 3d printing car decor parts and some other functional stuff for everyday use, not the biggest pro in modeling, but i do enjoy it and now i am trying to make it useful in game making via CaveEngine !

Ive have tryed to play around with game engines, but i do not know how to code and they seemed so complicated, so i dropped them, but, one day i found CaveEngine, randomly on youtube recommendations.
I remember it was December and it was on sale, so i tough ok, ill gona buy it and see what will happen.
It turned out to be really easy to use, somehow my mind could comprehend it :D

So, now that i am learning about cave, how components work and how to make stuff work together, i am actually creating something that resembles a game ! I will def upload some test projects that i have created, so people can roast them :D

In the end, i want to create a simple online tank game, where you make a match and just play, with no micros or live services. I do now know how long it will take, but i will make it !

Cheers, and i hope other people will start using it (so i get more tutorials on youtube) :D

Hey Cornduck, welcome! Your story is really interesting and shows how easy it is to use Cave Engine. I’ll be releasing some games on Cave soon as well. I’m curious about your tank game. I’ll definitely play it once it’s released! :D

Hi David, I'm glad to see you around here! It's been amazing to see your progress on our discord and now I think it will be even better in our forum. I love hearing cool stories about devs being able to make games because of cave. That's awesome!

So welcome to the cave once again!
