About This Game

A game prototype made from zero to participate in Tiniest2D game jam. I haven't programmed games before. Also, please, excuse me for stupid debug information showing on a screen. I had more polished build, but it went unrecoverably broken. Later, i produce another more polished build. Space to shoot, arrow keys to move (in broken build there were possiblity to also move with WASD).

The Journey of Making This Game

This game jam was very interesting expirience. In the beginning i wasn't know how to even begin to program game. Little by little, doing experiments and studying sample games, i begin to move with my endevour. Most trouble i had with shooting code. Fortunately, In the Tiniest2D discord channel one kind gentleman show me the source of his game, which helped immencely. All in all, game jam idea (with Tiniest2D engine as prize) is greate in creating strong motivation for participation and studiying game development.

How Uniday Studio Helped

Tiniest2D helps very much in bringing ideas to life, with its fast, iterative development. It has interesting architecture, good physic engine and short cycle of game design ideas implementation. Also, it's relatively easy to port code from other game engines, as Tiniest2D have all common math and input functions.
