About This Game
A tiny game in a tiny engine that I made rather quickly, as I'm not sure how much time I will have in the coming month due to starting a new job. I'm not a programmer, I did get help from a much more math-savvy friend, and I did my best, I hope.
Walk around the grass and pick up fruit while avoiding a monster. The more fruit you have, the more energy and speed, but watch out! The longer you avoid it, the more angry the monster gets!
Developer's Experience
Other than getting very confused about the pickups and enemy pathfinding, it was very nice, though difficult! I like how everything to make a tiny project is right there in the software. Adding things like highlighting, copying and pasting etc would improve the experience a lot though. I am a teacher by education and trade, so a lot of problems jumped out at me while looking at the provided documentation. It assumes the users have knowledge of programming, so for someone like me it was a lot more difficult. Personally, I'd add a lot more examples if possible, specify what will and won't work (for some reason && would just not work).
How Uniday Helped
The general tutorial was nice, but I think the documentation could use more clearer examples.
