Tiniest 2D Game Jam
Welcome to the **Tiniest 2D Game Jam**! [Tiniest2D](https://uniday.studio/students/108-tiniest2d-game-engine) is the easiest, fastest, and simplest 2D game engine for creating games in one place. With **Tiny Script**, you can build your game and create everything inside the engine itself, from assets and audio to sprites and scene level design. # The Engine Will Vanish on June 30, UNLESS... Tiniest2D is currently free until **June 30**. After that, it will vanish and probably return later as paid software. However, **anyone who makes and releases a game using Tiniest2D before the deadline** will be able to keep using the engine forever without paying anything. That is exactly why we are hosting this jam. The jam starts on **June 19** and runs until the end of the month, covering the full window you have to create and release a game before the engine vanishes. # No Theme This Time There is no fixed theme for this jam. You are free to create whatever kind of game you want. Here are a few ideas for inspiration: * Platformer * Top-down adventure * Puzzle game * Survival game * Shoot ’em up * Cozy collection game --- # The Content Creator Call You are also encouraged to create Tiniest2D content for social media, especially **YouTube** and **Instagram**. I will select the best Tiniest2D content creator and award them a **free lifetime license to Cave Engine**. The best 5 Tiniest2D content creators will also receive **lifetime access to Tiniest2D**, whether they release a game or not. So let’s fill YouTube with Tiniest2D content. You can create tutorial series, getting started guides, walkthroughs, devlogs, or simply showcase the engine. The most creative content will be rewarded, and you can post as many pieces of content as you want. Just make sure you share them on our Discord server so I am aware of them.

Ludum Dare 59
# Ludum Dare 59 - Mirror Event! Hey, welcome to Ludum Dare 59! This page is a **mirror event**, not the official Ludum Dare website. Its purpose is simply to allow you to **submit and showcase your Ludum Dare game here on this platform**, keeping everything organized alongside other projects in the community. If you don't know: A **game jam** is a time-limited event where developers create a game from scratch, usually around a specific theme, within a short period of time. It’s one of the best ways to challenge your creativity, improve your skills, and actually finish projects. **Ludum Dare** is one of the largest and longest-running game jams in the world. Thousands of developers participate every edition, creating games in 48 or 72 hours depending on the category. You can check the official event and participate directly here: 👉 [https://ldjam.com](https://ldjam.com) To participate: * Join Ludum Dare through the official website * Create your game during the event * Submit your game both on Ludum Dare and here This way, you get the best of both worlds: visibility on the official jam and presence inside this platform.
